Superhawk 55 - Sleekness, Style, and Performance

Sleekness, style, and performance. Three words that best describe the all-new Superhawk 55; Sunseeker's nice little yacht that looks the part and delivers a ton of quality while at it. A sequel to boats like the Superhawk 38 and 43, the 55 brings sporty handling coupled with contemporary style to offer a boat that comes with considerable luxury and thrilling speed.

Measuring 17.32m in length and 4.90m in width, the Superhawk 55’s design profile screams speed but also smartly manages to incorporate beautiful interior designs and clever touches that pay tribute to the company’s design prowess and heritage.

Speaking of heritage, the new boat’s “Union Jack” themed design cues are on display for all to see, neatly incorporated in spots all over the yacht. Union Jack track lighting features above the helm and slops all the way to the aft, while a pair of gates between the aft and the cockpit also wear the flag.

Main Deck

In the aft section of the cockpit, a large sun pad is the most prominent inclusion, with a pair of neat L-shaped sofas with a table in between them are adjacent to it. In the center, a large wet bar with concealed appliances and a waterproof TV feature.

The boat’s main helm station is situated in the forward area of the lounge, containing three seats and a plethora of monitors for all sorts of controls. These sit behind an impressive double-curved windscreen that provides uninterrupted views of the forward area and the boat’s surroundings.

The boat’s forward deck offers plenty of room for relaxation with a full-length sun pad that can slide forward to reveal a table and a seating area furnished with wireless charges and storage lockers.

Lower Deck

On the lower deck, an open area sits between the full-beam master suite and the VIP lounge. Here you will find a neat little galley, along with a lounge furnished with a large sofa and a central dining table in front of it.

The boat’s master suite is framed in black lacquer panels and comes with a large bed, a flat-screen TV adjacent to it, and an ensuite bathroom. The VIP suite is a tad smaller in size but still finds room for a bathroom of its own.

Curved wood and lacquer finishes give the interior area a nice premium feel. However, buyers will be happy to know that they have the liberty to mix and match the interior’s design with materials and colors of their choice.

Engine

The Superhwak 55 draws its power from a pair of 725hp Volvo Penta IPS engines. Combined, these give the boat an impressive top speed of 38 knots and a total horsepower of 1450hp. The Volvo will be the only engine configuration available, so expect no upgrades.

Armed with speed and luxury, the Superhawk 55 has emerged as Sunseeker’s latest entry in the lightweight performance yacht segment with the sole aim of bringing back the fun and thrills from the company’s previous open cruisers.
