The Ferretti 500 offers unprecedented design solutions and new concept interiors that bring a new dimension of comfort and wellbeing on the water. The manufacturers claim that the 500 boasts a ‘Just Like Home’ feeling to the ocean thanks to a customizable interior to reflect the tastes of every owner. The exclusive, authentic, multi-sensory habitat offers generous space and enterprising solutions. So much so that each guest and their family can experience the pleasure of leisure in the upscale family ambiance.
The 500 has a length of 15.33m (50ft, 4in.) and a beam of 4.29m (14ft, 2in). The boat is the result of a collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, and Filippo Salvetti. The contemporary finishes of the interior spaces were done by the design firm IdeaeItalia Architetti.
Adding to former models in the same 5XX range, the Ferretti 500 presents a new aerodynamic design and streamlined styling. Furthermore, it makes better use of its stern space with larger windows on the hull’s sides, as well as a swimming platform. This swimming area even has optional steps when submerged that make the yacht feel bigger than it is.

One of the multi-purpose settings on the flybridge is an aft-dining area with a large C-shaped sofa in the stern and a huge sun pad to starboard. Another relaxation area in the bow has a further, centrally located sun pad with optional reclining backrests for a 360° beach-like experience.
Emboldening its ‘Just Like Home’ claim, the yacht’s interior exudes comfort and Italian style with an artisan touch. This starts with the glass door into the lounge that seamlessly blends the exterior with the interior. The Ferretti 500's main deck with a spacious lounge even has a ‘smart table’ that transforms from a coffee table to a dining table.

The lower deck has two different layouts for owners, one with a master cabin and VIP cabin, and one with a master, VIP, and a double cabin. Rest assured though, with both options, big windows flood the bathrooms with natural light once again, further blurring the line between the 500‘s inside and exterior.
A full-beam master fills the cabin‘s center, which has a massive mirror stretching across the entire width, and premium design touches. All interiors are made with Italian materials - seen throughout the cabin and master bathroom. This design palette and color scheme are present throughout the other cabins, too, with a contemporary interior design reminiscent of the colors of Santorini and oak. Owners can also opt for a more classic interior design mood with warmer colors inspired by the town of Portofino.

Fitted with a pair of 550 mhp Cummins QSB 6.7 engines, Ferretti bill the 500 with a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. The new yacht is fitted with a set of Humphree dynamic trim interceptors to ensure maximum simplicity of use. Owners can also opt for gyroscopic stabilization to ensure maximum stability.
The pilot also has an optimized layout with three touchscreen monitors at the interior helm station on the main deck and the optional joystick with docking mode. And finally, on the flybridge, there is a single 12-inch monitor, while the alternative standard version has a nine-inch monitor.

The yacht is the recipient of the Best Exterior Design in the 50ft–80ft category at the Oceanway China Yacht Annual Awards. Another string in the bow for Ferretti Yachts as they took the Best Luxury Yacht Brand in 2021 at the Hurun Best of the Best Awards. That marks the eighth consecutive year it has won that award, with the 500 model no doubt playing some part in that accolade.
