It is a premium coastal mobility network powered by REGENT Viceroy Seagliders. Its central proposition is simple: reduce the time and friction associated with regional transportation while making the journey something to look forward to rather than dread.
The service will integrate existing waterfront infrastructure, concierge coordination, and premium hospitality. The Twenty Five is REGENT's launch partner for operations in the Northeast and Southeast United States. The all-electric Seaglider travels just above the water's surface at speeds of up to 180 mph. It is a unique craft that has three modes: float, hydrofoil, and ground-effect flight.
Connecting Coastal Destinations
Rather than treating transportation as an isolated part of a trip, The Twenty Five is designing its service around what it describes as 'continuity of lifestyle and experience'.
The company aims to reduce time lost to congestion, terminals, and transfers. Direct waterfront departures are intended to create a more seamless journey from departure through arrival. This lets members skip many of the steps you can’t avoid with conventional air and ground travel.
Seagliders will feature full-height cabins, large windows, and premium interiors, supported by a white-glove service. Many small airplanes and helicopters frequenting these coastal routes can't compete with that.
An All-Electric Approach
REGENT's Seaglider is 100% electric and produces zero direct emissions. Once in open water, it operates above the water's surface rather than moving through it. The Twenty-Five says this results in significantly less marine disruption than typical vessels. The company also states that the Seaglider can operate at up to 30 decibels quieter than an aircraft or helicopter.
Beyond transportation, the company believes next-generation electric maritime mobility could support wider economic opportunities in coastal areas, including more skilled jobs and renewed commercial use of waterfront infrastructure and hospitality ecosystems.
Turning Time Saved Into Time Well Lived
The Twenty Five illustrates its ambitions with journeys such as having breakfast in Manhattan and returning to the Hamptons in under an hour, or having lunch in Miami before continuing to a yacht in the Caribbean soon afterward. The service aims to turn shorter coastal journeys into more usable time at the destination. That's something many travelers will appreciate.
While the company hasn't committed to a specific launch date, given the late 2027 delivery period for the Seagliders, the service will likely start soon after that. For members, perhaps that trip from Manhattan to the Hamptons will no longer have that notoriety associated with it.
