The best way to enjoy a cruise along the coastline of the French Riviera is via a superyacht or megayacht charter. But if your budget won't accommodate that, the next best thing is a cruise on the Ritz-Carlton Collection's Evrima yacht.

If you choose to stay in the owner's suite, you'll enjoy remarkable luxury with a spacious living and dining area, along with your own private terrace with a Jacuzzi. The only thing you won't get compared to a superyacht charter is having the vessel to yourself.

Itinerary

The cruise aboard Evrima takes guests through multiple Côte d'Azur cities, include Saint Tropez, Cannes & Monaco, but it doesn't end there. You also get to see Mediterranean islands, Corsica and Sardinia, and to cap off what should be a memorable trip, the journey ends in the Eternal City, Rome.

Since we have a bias for the French Riviera, it should come as no surprise that we think the Côte d'Azur cities will be the best places during your trip. There's a good chance the first three days will be the most enjoyable. Here's why:

Monte Carlo

The trip starts in Monte Carlo. Monaco's best-known district needs to introduction. The allure of Casino Square and Hotel de Paris draws tourists from all over the world, but you shouldn't limit yourself to the world-class glamor of Monte Carlo. Be sure to stop by Le Rocher for the changing of the guard at the Prince's Palace and a visit to the Oceanographic Museum with its abundance of sea creatures.

Le Rocher is also home to the Monaco Cathedral, which happens to be the final resting place of Princess Grace Kelly. Car enthusiasts should make a final stop by the Moncao Top Cars Collection museum in Port Hercules for a glimpse at some rare automobiles before setting off for other Riviera towns on the itinerary.

Cannes

Cannes is best known for the annual film festival in late spring. However, the city has some gems to explore. Art lovers should stop by the newly renovated Centre d'Art La Malmaison, where a collection of beautiful art awaits visitors. You can also indulge in luxury shopping along La Croisette, best known for the iconic hotels, Carlton-Cannes and Barrière Le Majestic.

Other attractions here include Musée de la Castre, Le Vieux Port, and Le Suquet, where old world charm awaits you.

Saint Tropez

You know what they say about Saint Tropez. The Riviera's most glamorous town (at least within France) is known as a favorite among A-listers and royalty. The town made famous by Brigitte Bardot offers a charm that keeps people coming back.

Favorites like Place des Lices offer a variety of experiences, from leisurely walks to a difficult-to-match French culinary experience at the newly reopened Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric Restaurant.

If retail therapy is your thing, the place to put a small dent in your net worth is Rue François Sibilli, where boutiques from brands like Dior, Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton await.

Group Excursions & Custom Private Tours

If you prefer to share your experiences with other cruise guests, there is a collection of curated excursions to choose from in each town. These excursions cover a variety of activities like a perfume workshop and wine tasting in Cannes, a tour of Port Grimaud, along with seafood tasting, and hiking the Bonifatu Forest in Corsica.

Dining like Royalty

A luxury cruise isn't worth its salt without exceptional fine dining, and the Evrima experience won't disappoint. Options include alfresco dining at Mistral, where the menu is rich with Mediterranean favorites, with a mix of fresh local catches and grilled prime cuts. Other options include Southeast Asian cuisine at Talaat Nam and The Evrima Room, where the chefs seek to delight guests with seasonal surprises in a large dining area.

If you're feeling lazy, you don't need to leave your room as you can order from the all-day dining menu for cuisine you can enjoy on your private terrace when you choose a suite with that feature.

Onboard Experiences

The aim of going on vacation is to unwind after all that hard work, and there's no better place to relax than in a spa. Evrima offers the best in spa treatments, including massages and facials, in what the Ritz-Carlton refers to as a sanctuary. Once you're done at the spa, spend some time at the aft marina, the pool, or just lounge at the observation terrace, which offers the best views on the vessel.

Other experiences include a fitness studio and high-end shopping with designer apparel, jewelry, and high-end sportswear on offer.

Once you arrive in the Eternal City, you would have experienced a very fulfilling vacation. But don't simply catch a plane back home. Take some time to enjoy the incredible tourist attractions Rome has to offer.
