What would you pay for a very special cocktail? If you're familiar with the entertainment scene in Dubai, maybe you've heard of NAHATÉ Dubai, a family-run luxury dining and nightlife venue located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Owned by Sam Florentsev and Jenya Makeeva, the venue spans an entire floor and is renowned for blending fine dining with curated nightlife.
The space includes Baccarat's signature Chef's Table, and two members-only spots, including the world's first Jacob & Co. Cigar Lounge. Known for hosting elite gatherings, NAHATÉ operates as a nightlife destination from Thursday through Saturday with entertainment, signature cocktails, and fine cuisine.

In a fusion of rare spirits, historic craftsmanship, and haute hospitality, NAHATÉ Dubai is hosting what's likely to be the world's most luxurious cocktail auction. Set for April 7, 2025, the event celebrates an exclusive collaboration with Patrón Tequila and Baccarat and brings together collectors, cocktail connoisseurs, and tastemakers at one of Dubai's most coveted destinations.
The centerpiece of the evening is an auction for a one-of-a-kind cocktail experience featuring a custom-aged tequila blend created by Patrón's master distiller and served in one of only two 1937 Baccarat Service Leczinska crystal glasses ever produced.

If you're unfamiliar with the name, it's fair to ask what makes the crystal glasses so special. Baccarat was established in 1764 with permission from King Loius XV (Louis the Beloved). The company has been making exceptional crystal glassware ever since and is renowned for making some of the best barware in the world.
Crafted by Baccarat designer Georges Chevalier, this glass was originally presented at the 1937 International Exhibition of Arts and Techniques in Paris. It has never been reissued, making it a functional objet d'art steeped in royal and design heritage.
Additionally, the crystal glasses were selected by Petit Palais for public display as part of events celebrating Baccarat's 250th anniversary. The winner will take home the Baccarat crystal and the bespoke tequila blend, a pairing that captures a moment of cultural and culinary significance.

The tequila, developed exclusively for the occasion, is a rare blend of three aged tequilas crafted using traditional methods from 100% Weber Blue Agave. Its golden hue is matched by complex flavors of caramel, vanilla, butter, and stone fruit. This gives it a smooth layered finish that aligns with the artistic sophistication of the Baccarat glass.
The final cocktail is completed with two additional ingredients: Kina Lillet (famously known as an ingredient in James Bond's Vesper Cocktail) from 1950 and 1930s Angostura bitters. The drink will be mixed and served by bartender Salvatore "The Maestro" Calabrese, known for creating the world's most expensive cocktail.

Beyond the auction, guests will be treated to an evening of music by DJ Lorenzo, gourmet starters including oysters and black caviar, and signature drinks by Federico Pavan, Director of Mixology at The Donovan Bar in London. The host of the event is Dubai radio and celebrity interview stalwart Kris Fade, one of the region's most recognizable media personalities and host of the popular Kris Fade Show on Virgin Radio Dubai.
The collaboration between NAHATÉ, Patrón, and Baccarat is a celebration of shared values: exceptional craftsmanship, authenticity, and timeless design. For NAHATÉ, it also marks a deeper entry into global cultural dialogue, placing the venue on the world stage of experiential luxury.
