What would you expect when a world-renowned jeweler adds their touch to an alluring high-performance luxury convertible? No doubt, the result has to be something special. The one-of-one Boodles Bentley Continental GTC exemplifies every aspect of the expectations: An understated and classy car anyone with discerning taste would love to put in their garage.
The fruit of a collaboration between jeweler Boodles and Mulliner, the coachbuilding division of Bentley, the Boodles Bentley Continental GTC looks to add a special touch to an already remarkable car.
Mulliner was established as an enterprise in 1760 in Northampton, while Boodles began operations as a jewelry company in 1798 in Liverpool. Throughout the generations, both gained a prestigious reputation, and their collaboration has resulted in something that emits elegance from all parts.

It’s hard to look away from the sophisticated Anthracite exterior finish complemented by a fabric roof with a grey hue that blends well with the metallic color of the body. The 22-inch Mulliner wheels finished in polished Tungsten and nicely accentuated with gloss black brake calipers add a refined and classy touch to the GTC.
A subtle pinstripe in Boodles’s signature ‘Powder Pink’ adorns the edge of the sills along with the front and rear spoilers, and a ground-illuminated Boodles logo welcomes you into the unique cabin of the automobile.

As you step into the car, you get as close as a car’s interior can be to a jewel case. The seats, fascia top roll, steering wheel, and gear lever are finished with a combination of linen upholstery and pale grey Porpoise hide to give the effect of opening a Boodles jewel box.
The seat’s piping and cross stitching on the console, seats, fascia, and waist rails also get the Powder Pink touch, while the interlocking 'Be Boodles' motif (which requires 278,566 stitches and six hours of work) is featured on the upper seat backs and door panels.

But the Boodles touch won’t be complete without some jewelry, so the center console was fitted with a hand-crafted “Be Boodles Bentley” pendant. The pendant features a mirrored pair of diamond set ‘B’ emblems in 18ct white gold. In addition, the fascia and door waist rails have an Autumn stone veneer and Piano linen dual-finish.
Mulliner created the razor-thin panels of veneer from natural stone using advanced laser cutting techniques to ensure precision. Also present are a pair of linen-hide cushions embroidered with ‘Boodles 1798’.
Adding a punctuation to the jewelry case styling are the dials, bezels, air vents, and controls, all framed in Mulliner’s light-catching Knurling Specification to create a car interior you’ll be hard-pressed to find a close match for.

The design expertise and detail-oriented craftsmanship of Mulliner and Boodles shine in the details of the Boodles Bentley Continental GTC. Even though understated, it tells a tail of refinement and class like no other automobile we’re aware of. It is indeed a car an owner can rightly brag about.
