Rally car driving experience in Brisbane

Rallyschool (Brisbane) offers a rally driving experience at their Brisbane Queensland Australia location. This experience is designed to be one’s first exposure to rally driving. You get to drive for a total of 6 laps on their rally track. Similar to other driving experiences, an instructor sits by your side to keep you safe and ensure that you get the best out of the event.

Cars

The experience offers a Subaru WRX STi, Subaru BRZ, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo or Toyota 86. That’s a reasonable collection of cars for a rally experience. It’s important to mention that you should have some experience driving a manual transmission car. Otherwise, you’d have to settle for the magnificent view of Brisbane which is a pretty nice place.

Customer Care

The members of staff are very friendly and helpful. Refreshments are also readily available. You’re likely to need these as the drive from town is relatively lengthy.

Safety

A proper safety briefing is given before the experience and safety gear is offered.

Rally Track

The rally track looks excellent for a beginner track. While we would have loved to see a track with a little more mud, the weather didn’t cooperate.

Experience Video

Just like most other experiences, the video is nothing to write home about, and it comes with an additional cost. It might not be a bad idea to take a laptop with you so you can view it before leaving. They don’t have any facility to show you the video on site.

Bottom Line

While this is our first rally experience, there’s no doubt it’s a real taste of what it's like to drive a rally car. The track was small, but that’s probably a good thing for a beginner. RallySchool does offer experiences that last longer for people who want to have a more fulfilling experience. If you’re curious about rally driving, we recommend trying this out. It’s a lot of fun.
