Have you ever stayed at a Four Seasons Hotel? If you have, don’t you think it would be great to have a similar experience on a cruise? In case you’re unaware, Four Seasons is planning to start a new luxury cruise program with a set of exceptional yachts in 2026. As the program’s launch draws near, the company has teased different features people who have trusted the brand with offering exceptional service (and newcomers) can expect.
The most recent update has information about one of its most innovative features: the Marina Day experience on the first yacht in the planned fleet named Four Seasons 1. It is a concept that promises to redefine luxury living at sea. At the heart of this offering is a groundbreaking transverse marina.
The design departs from the conventional aft position, instead spanning both port and starboard sides of the yacht to bring guests directly to the water’s edge. It creates an immersive, all-day experience of relaxation, activity, and exploration.
The marina is a feat of maritime design, with retractable platforms and a spacious interior lounge and bar. When fully extended, it offers up to 676 sq m (7,275 sq ft) of usable space. Designed by Tillberg Design of Sweden, the interior evokes a Riviera-inspired casual sophistication and matches the elegance of the residential-style suites on the vessel. The design takes inspiration from the dining terrace designs in the South of France.
The space accommodates up to 105 guests across its indoor and outdoor areas and features a sea-level platform outfitted with lounge chairs, a seawater dipping pool, and an extendable dock for watersports.
Guests can choose from a range of activities, including kayaking, water biking, paddleboarding, and electric hydrofoils - all while taking in scenic coves and coastal views on designated Marina Days throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean itineraries.
Programming begins at sunrise with wellness-focused activities like on-deck yoga and guided meditation sessions. As the day unfolds, the marina transforms into a vibrant social setting where guests enjoy expertly crafted beverages and relaxed luxury in postcard-perfect locations.
These include Mayreau Island, Soufrière Bay, Monte Argentario, and the Gulf of Squillace. Whether seeking high-energy adventures or tranquil moments on the floating platform, guests will find a curated balance of activity and leisure.
Further enhancing the experience is the Grand Touring suite of excursions. This includes the Limo Tender (after all, it is Four Seasons) - a fully staffed, 10-meter (32-foot) vessel offering private, customizable outings - and the Beachlander, a high-speed Ribeye craft designed for adventure. These options allow for bespoke exploration of nearby beach clubs, hidden coves, coral reefs, and picturesque harbors.
The Four Seasons Yacht project is a collaboration between Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., cruise ship builder Fincantieri, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The yacht’s all-suite, residential-style layout and signature features - including the 927-sq m (9,975-sq ft) Funnel Suite with its curved, floor-to-ceiling glass signal the brand’s ambitious move into the world of luxury yachting. A second vessel, Four Seasons II, is already planned for debut in 2027.
