Pershing 140 - It can't get much better than this

While it's by no means the newest yacht under the Pershing name, the Pershing 140 is arguably the best offering from the Ferretti Group-owned brand, with tons of space, and luxury that may be unmatched in its class.

With a length of 140 feet, the Pershing 140 is, as is the case with many of the Group's boats, a result of the collaboration between experienced yacht designer and architect Fulvio De Simimoi, Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee, and the Group's Engineering department.

The continuity of this collaboration is evident in the boat's somewhat familiar design - a sporty and aggressive look that cleverly blends in sleek lines and some of Pershing's most iconic details, like dual lateral wings.

Taunted as the brand's flagship, the Pershing 140 is the first yacht manufactured at the relatively new yard in Ancona, Italy, and is also the first to be built in a light aluminum alloy. With its triple deck setup, the 140 offers best-in-class amenities, with a few exclusives like a dedicated owner area on the main deck.

You're welcomed aboard the 140 via a massive waterside beach club. Featuring an "original" mezzanine-style layout, the aft zone comes with a raised cockpit that offers better views and makes the beach zone a more robust and usable space. As standard, the boat's garage can accommodate a Williams 565 tender and a jet ski. Both are accessible via a pair of Port side hatches.

A pair of stairs ascend from the bathing platform to the boat's raised cockpit, which is fitted with a vast sunbed area, while a huge dining table for 10 is also on offer. Further forward, a large sliding glass door leads to the 140's ultra luxurious lounge. Equipped with various amenities, the lounge is the perfect indoor spot for any relaxation and socializing aboard. Supplied with lots of natural light thanks to Pershing's iconic extended glazing design, the lounge is divided into two areas, a living area up top and a dining/kitchen area.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you're in a moving 5-star hotel with the contemporary freestanding furniture and aesthetics you'll find on the 140. Full-sized sofas, an array of entertainment systems, and everything you'll expect in a modern luxury yacht is available in the lounge.

Thanks to its spacious hull, the boat's designers had time to try out different layouts, with the first of the 140s coming with a fully equipped master suite on the main deck. A double bed, a walk-in closet, a full-size parlor, and a large bathroom with a shower separated from the bathtub are some of the immediately apparent perks.

Belowdecks, the Pershing 140 accommodates four guest suites. Each suite has a closet and ensuite bathroom with equally large windows and contemporary designs. The suites feel as spacious and comfortable as you'd expect on a yacht of this size. The cabin crew zone isn't a disappointment either, with three bunk-bed bedrooms, all with a private bathroom.

Connected to the boat's cockpit zone, the 140's spacious sun deck is by far the largest on a Pershing boat, trumping the company's other offerings like the 115 and 116, which are by no means small. The sundeck comes with a sunbed, full dining facilities, a bar unit, and a fully equipped helm station.

With all the luxury on board, it's quite easy to forget that the 140 packs some serious performance. Powered by four MYU 16 V 2000 M96L engines, the yacht offers a top speed of 38 knots, a cruising speed of 35 knots, and a range of 1400 nautical miles.

Performance is further enhanced by the boat's advanced hydrodynamic design, which reduces drag and enhances fuel efficiency, and ensures a smooth and stable ride even in the roughest of seas.

From its size to design and performance, the Pershing 140 leaves no doubts about what it's here to achieve. Easily one of the best yachts in its class, the boat sets the standard for luxury and performance in a competitive segment.
