Glashütte Original’s PanoMaticLunar Anniversary Edition, reference 1-92-14-01-03-61, commemorates 180 years of watchmaking with a limited run of 180 pieces (very clear emphasis).
In a tribute to the watchmakers who took inspiration from the night sky glowing with stars, the watch dial features a rich dark blue theme clearly influenced by the celestial view overhead. The 40mm platinum case measures 12.80mm in height and brags of 5 bar water resistance.
The dial is made from blue aventurine, known as gold flow, which delivers a fine, starry shimmer as light catches the seemingly suspended particles. Like many in the Pano Collection, the watch features an off-center watch face, a moon disk, a small seconds dial below the main time display, and the brand’s signature Panorama Date positioned to the right.
The date display has two date discs without a dividing bar for a clean readout. The moon disc is also aventurine and features two small domed moons of white mother-of-pearl.
